Alfreton Town return to the Impact Arena tonight when Ebbsfleet United are the visitors for a Blue Square Bet Premier Division game which kicks-off at 7.45pm.

Reds boss Nicky Law will be without captain Darran Kempson who exited last Saturday’s drawn game at Tamworth early after picking up a groin strain. Also missing still is goalkeeper Phil Barnes who is still recovering from a torn thigh muscle and Theo Streete who completes a four-game suspension.

Law will be looking for his side to build on their their three-match unbeaten run and a fifth home victory of the campaign could put them within a couple of wins of ensuring a third season in the Conference Premier Division.

Relegation-fighting Ebbfleet arrive in 23rd place in the table and they will be desperate for a win to close the gap on the sides just above them to give their survival hopes a shot in the arm.

United have won three times on the road so far and drawn twice, gaining 11 of their total of 32 points away from home.

The wins have come at Macclesfield Town (2-1), Nuneaton Town (5-4) and Tamworth (1-0). The draws were gained at AFC Telford United (2-2) and Lincoln City (1-1).

In their last outing, Liam Daish’s side drew 1-1 at home with title-chasing Newport County last Saturday, Liam Enver-Marum with the United goal.

Nathan Elder is the top scorer for United this season with 15 league goals.

The sides drew 0-0 in the first clash of the season in Kent back on Saturday, October 13th.
