SHERWOOD Forest Farm Park Fishery owner Mick Langton won the Sunday Open angling match on Holmedale with a level 125lb, the only ton of the day.
Drawn at peg 33 on a frosty morning, he fished the pole and pellet out at 13m for 21 carp to 5lb and the worm down the margin for six margin monsters to 12lb.
A tight finish for second saw Chris Greensides edge it with 97lb 7oz of carp and chub from the margin at peg 21.
On Sherwood Lake, Steve Richards fished the pole and c/worm out at 11m for 35lb of skimmers and ide to 1lb and five carp to 10lb on worm fished down the margin for a match-winning level 75lb.
Craig Brazier took top spot in the Wednesday Fun League match on Holmedale.
He fished the pole and pellet out and later down the margin, landing 20 carp to 5lb and five margin fish to 10lb for 110lb 4oz and an extra £100 for being on the golden peg.
