In the Mansfield & District League Premier Section, Farnsfield (150-4) recorded a comfortable win over Glapwell (149-5), Sam Routledge’s 64 the best of the batting for Farnsfield.

Eckington (155-6) continue to set the pace at the top after beating Welbeck (154) by four wickets.

In Section One, Coal Aston (195-6 declared) failed to beat Grassmor (200-5), who went top with the result.

Denby (220-5) had a close finish with Mansfield Hosiery Mills (218-4), the home side hanging on to a winning draw, despite Kyle Garside finishing unbeaten on 94.

In Section Two, Parkhead (287) maintained their second position with a big win over Blackwell (87), D. Spilman top-scoring with 80 and D. Nellis and H. Vinall taking three wickets each.

Morton (232) had to settle for a rain-affected timed match with UNDERWOOD (125-2) in 43 overs. Blair Matthews top scored for Morton with 126.

In Section Three, any chances of a win for Killamarsh (132) over Welbeck were dashed by the rain.

In Section Four Byron Abbey (101-2) kept in touch with the top by beating Papplewick & Linby (100) by eight wickets, J. Greenhalgh (35) and N. Collins (37) seeing them home.

South Normanton had a walkover with Belper Meadows as they could not raise a team.

In Section Five Selston (53) lost by six wickets to Pheasant Hill (54-4), for whom N. Shafiq took 6-15.

Shirebrook (78-9) managed to beat Sheffield Transport (75) by a single wicket in a match dominated by bowlers, Lee Johnso,n 5-9 for Shirebrook, and James Maiden, 7-23 for Transport.

Bawtry (7) 130-7 maintained their position near the top of Section Six, despite only managing a losing draw with Langwith (15) 153-9, Gavin McCarthy pick of the bowlers for Bawtry with 5-18

In Section Seven, Thoresby (144-4) were too strong for Sheffield Transport (143), beating them by six wickets with Sam Morris scoring 56 not out for Thoresby.

Hundall (109-3) had a comfortable win over Waleswood (108), Max Hunt and James Naylor sharing six wickets for Hundall.

Woodsetts (199-7) are the new leaders in the section after beating Eckington (168) by 31 runs.
