Skateboarding, Scootering, BMX, Free Running and Slacklining Xtreme Sports taster sessions are being held at several Ashfield parks over the Easter Holiday period.
To take part just turn up at any of the following free sessions between 12 and 3pm - Recreation Ground, Jacksdale: Monday, 2nd April,Titchfield Park, Hucknall: Thursday, 5th April, Kingsway Park, Kirkby: Tuesday, 10th April, Morven Park, Kirkby: Wednesday, 11th April, Sutton Lawn: Thursday, 12th April, The Little Big Rec, Healdswood, Saturday, 14th April.
Anyone from age six to adult can come along and try out the activities as part of the Xtreme Ashfield Games.
Following on from the taster sessions will be the chance to enter Xtreme Active Ashfield Games competitions in May and June with winners going through to the Xtreme Active Ashfield Games Finals on Sunday, 1st July at Titchfield Park, Hucknall.
Carol Hallam, sports development officer said: “Extreme Sports are proving to be very popular at park and leisure centre sites.
“The Xtreme Active Ashfield Games will engage many young people in positive activities as part of Active Ashfield’s 2012 programme.”
