Following the devastating floods of 2007, the Rainworth Skoda Dukeries Rally returns to a completely refurbished Southwell Racecourse on Saturday, 14th June and the organisers, Dukeries Motor Club Ltd, will be hoping that 'lightning' does not strike twice!
2008 sees the 49th running of the Dukeries Rally and plans for a more compact route than usual – 44 stage miles/100 road miles - are well in hand.

The main service area, where cars will spend an hour, is at Thoresby Sunday Market and additional co
mpetitor support vehicles will be permitted here.

Dukeries MC have always had a keen eye for value-for-money and, to that end, are able to offer competitors the following:

l Standard entry fee of £375.

Reduced entry fee of £300 for anyone entering their first forest rally and for all BTRDA Rally First competitors.

l Reduced entry fee of £350 for competitors in Classes 1.4L/1.4C.

l Entry fees may be paid in two instalments, with just £50 initial payment.

l Full refund guaranteed for withdrawals up to six days before the rally.

l Saturday scrutineering is available by appointment, if required.

For the fifth consecutive year the event will be sponsored by Rainworth Skoda who moved to new flagship premises in Mansfield shortly after last year’s rally.

Regulations/entry forms are due at the printers in the next few days and will be sent to registered competitors in each of the relevant Championships, while they will also be available to download from www.dukeries-rally.co.uk.
