ROBIN Hood Gym boss matt Scriven is staging a boxing dinner at Mansfield Civic Centre on Saturday, 27th September and an open show at Nottingham Victoria Leisure Centre on Saturday, 5th October.
The Mansfield show will feature three six rounders including Charlie Chiverton, looking to add to his two pro wins so far, against Stourport’s Ernie Smith.

Mansfield’s Dennis Coupe faces Kirkby’s Nicky Furness and new Robin Hood signing Martin Mohammed, of Nottingham, will fight Sid Razak, of Birmingham.

The evening inclues a four course meal, an auction, a guest of honour and disco.

Tickets are £80 VIP or £60 for outer tables available from 07833 995770.

The Nottingham show will feature a Midlands Area middleweight title fight between Mick Monaghan and Max Maxwell.

Also boxing that night will be Ollie Newham, Steve Jevons, Martin Mohammed and Nicky Furness.

Tickets are £40 ringside and £30 outer and the night is sponsored by Level 1 security

Scriven is also busy preparing Andy Bell and Tyrone Wright, Bell to defend his British super fly title against Lee Haskins of Bristol - probably on 17th October in York Hall on the Ian Napa European title challenge bill - and Wright for his English title bid on 17th October at Nottingham Arena.
