LOCAL rivals Shirebrook Town and Teversal could face each other in a big FA Cup derby this autumn - if both can get over their first two hurdles.
The pair would face each other in the first qualifying round. But before that they have much work to do.
In the opening Extra Preliminary Round on 15th August Shirebrook are at home to Holbeach United and Teversal at home to Bourne Town while Rain
worth MW face a trip to Radford.
The Preliminary Round is on 29th August and, if they have come through the first test, Shirebrook will face a visit from Hinckley Downes or Boston Town and Teversal will be home to Goole while Rainworth will host Gresley or Heather St John.
Glapwell also enter at this stage and have been drawn at home to face the winners of Holwell Sports or Ellis Town.
Apart from the Teversal v Shirebrook showdown, the first qualifying round would also see Glapwell, if successful, at home to Carlton Town/Bottesford Town/New Mills and Rainworth home to Belper Town/Holbrook MW/Heanor Town.
In the FA Vase first qualifying round on 5th September, Teversal will host Sleaford Town and Ollerton Town will take on Barton Town OB.
Progress by Ollerton would see them away two weeks later to Calverton MW and Teversal would face local rivals Sutton Town at home.
Other local sides enter at this stage with Blackwell MW at home to Louth Town, Shirebrook Town at home to Winterton Rangers and Rainworth MW at home to Radcliffe Olympic.
Glapwell are at home to Granthan Town on 3rd October in the FA Trophy Preliminary Round.
The winners will be away to Stocksbridge Park Steels in the first qualifying round.
Alfreton Town come into the competition in the third qualifying round while Mansfield Town enter in the first round proper.
The FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round during week commencing 7th September pits Stags boss David Holdsdworth against his former club as Mansfield Town host Ilkeston Town.
The winners travel to Blaby and Whetstone Athletic or Grantham.
Teversal and Rainworth do not come into it until the first qualifying round when Teversal will play at home to St Andrews or Matlock Town while Rainworth will travel to Oadby Town.
