LOCAL rider Craig Fitzpatrick had one of his toughest weekends yet in the latest round of the British Supersport Cup, at Cadwell Park.
Fitzpatrick battled through the remnants of the injuries he sustained last time out to move one step closer to the British Supersport Cup title.
After giving his all, Fitzpatrick finished 21st overall but took another vital second place in the Cup, to extend his championship lead.
Fitzpatrick now has a commanding 35 point lead in the Cup standings going into the last three rounds. His next outing is at Croft next week.
