Team Two Wheel Centre had a very successful weekend at Cadwell Park.
Peter Scott in the Pro-Bike Championship qualified fifth on the Saturday to end sixth in race one and fifth in race two.
This was a brilliant end to the first day of racing, the more so because it was his first ride after Oulton Park.
On day tw
o Peter qualified third on the grid, and was fast off the line to take the lead.
The battle was on and Pete came home third in race one.
In race two he again crossed the line in third.
To round off an excellent weekend he was presented with the ‘Rider of the Day’ for Pro-Bike on the Sunday, and also broke his personal lap record.
Craig Naylor’s weekend did not start so well. His Yamaha R6 had a technical fault which could not be sorted at Cadwell Park.
He returned to Mansfield to collect his boss’ Yamaha R1, and changed from the Formula 600 to the Pro-Bike.
Craig went out on Saturday morning to produce a qualifying time of 1.48 at the end of the weekend.
Despite being unfamiliar with the R1 he was doing well to lap at 1.42.
A newcomer to Team Two Wheel Centre is nine-year-old Taz Taylor who is racing in the British Conti Cup.
He was at Wilton Mill Northampton and qualified second on the grid, coming fourth in his first race.
In the second Taz led for the first lap then held onto second until the last lap before finishing third to earn his his first podium.
