Forest Town racer Dale Gayson enjoyed three wins and a battling second place in his New-Era Superclub Pro-Bike Open Championship round at Anglesey last weekend.
Race one saw Dale dicing with the other riders, but pass the finish flag in first position, taking the win and the laurel.
In the second race Dale felt more confident and again won the race and the laurel.
However, Sunday was a mixed affair as
Dale was taken out from behind by another rider in the first outing but, due to another incident on the same lap, the race was red flagged.
Dale got his bike back to the pits and it was repaired the best his team could manage.
The main problems were his throttle and foot peg, which was loose.
On the re-start Dale was hampered by the foot peg and settled to score points, coming home in second place.
After sorting out the problems with his bike Dale set out to try to win the last race which he did, coming home with his third laurel of the weekend.
Dale began the season with a creditable fourth place as he set his bike up in the Wirrel Club round at Oulton Park. Back at Oulton Park two weeks later for a New Era round, he came fifth in both races.
Dale is competing this season, backed by a host of helpers and sponsors, including Vic of S&R Payne, Manfield, Tony of Rollin Fabrications, Boughton, and Paul and Joy.
