Gaming website, PaddyPowerPoker.com has announced the schedule for their unique 2013 Student Masters tournament. The poker festival is exclusive to students over the age of 18, and will take place on Saturday 2nd March and Sunday 3rd March. The winning student will receive a seat to next year’s notorious Irish Open event.
The two day competition will be hosted in Dublin across two different venues. Day 1 will take place in the Ballsbridge Hotel, with the €100 + €10 Buy-in, No Limit Hold ‘em, Freeze out Main Event commencing at 2 pm. The game will continue for 12 hours, concluding at 2 am. The events of Day 2 will be held at the Jackpot Casino, with the Main Event kicking off again at 2 pm. The events of Sunday 3rd will also include a very affordable €20 + €2 Buy-in, No Limit Hold ‘em Freeze out Play out game.
For those wanting to claim a seat at the Student Masters tournament, qualifiers for the Main Event will be available on the Paddy Power Poker website on Monday 15th October. Free roll and satellite tournaments will take place. The password for these online events is quite suitably, ‘STUDENT’.
Two satellites will take place every week, awarding the winner with a seat at the Student Masters event worth €110. Every Monday will see a €5 + €0.50 Buy-in No limit Hold ‘em satellite, which will start at 7.30 pm. Following this, there will be a €1 + €0.10 Re-buy feeder satellite at 8pm. In addition to these events, there will also be a €10 + €1 Buy-in No Limit Hold ‘em freeze out game, which will take place at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 10th October. This will also be giving away a seat to the Masters tournament as a prize.
Alternatively, two seats will be up for grabs every month in the Student Masters free roll at PaddyPowerPoker.com. Runner ups in third to tenth place will not leave empty handed, as they will receive an €11 token for the site’s online satellites running on Wednesday. The free rolls will begin on Sunday 28th October and will run to Sunday 24th February.
