Soccersixes, a company specialising in the organisation of small-sided football, are bringing a 6-a-side league to Mansfield and the surrounding community in November.
The league will be based at the Manor Sports Centre Astroturf and will be launched with £1000 prize money on offer!
The community league is scheduled to run every Sunday from 7-9pm on full size Astroturf pitch which will be divided into 3 6aside p
itches.
The will be 24 teams, 3 divisions of 8 teams with a promotion and relegation system.
Teams will play an intense 30 minute match each week with a qualified referee.
The league will cost just £2.50 per player and teams entering will have the chance to win a huge array of awards including; trophies or cash for winners and runners-up, player of the season, and a fair play award.
Teams will also have the opportunity of playing against other teams from leagues across England in Soccersixes' national cup.
The league is offering £1000 prize money for the league and good teams have a great chance of winning the cash! All matches are officiated by FA qualified referees while sixes staff will attend the league each week to ensure the smooth running of fixtures and to deal with any queries or problems.
All equipment will be provided. Anyone over the age of 16 can enter and you do not need to be an organised or established team, you may simply be a group of friends, work colleagues or mates from the pub. The league will be fully affiliated to the FA.
