Shirebrook pub for sale

A POPULAR Shirebrook pub is looking for new owners this week after being put up for sale.
The New Drum, on Market Place, which has built up a strong following with its live music and late licence, is on the market for £500,000.
The price has been designed to attract entrepreneurs from the pub trade –– though it is thought residential developers may also take an interest.
Mark Greig, managing director of London property agency Paramount Investments, which is selling the pub, says the pub deserves a good future.
"To pick up a site like this at such a price represents a terrific opportunity for the right kind of publican," he said.
