Angela Flavell and Angela Severn organised the Grange Care Home fair at Shirebrook when residents and guests were entertained by Davido, who also demonstrated animal balloon modelling.
Taking it on the chin was Lynne Steers who was placed in stocks where she was bombarded with wet sponges, all in a good cause.

Stalls included hook-a-duck, bric-a-brac and homemade cakes. A raffle with 20 prizes ran throughout the afternoon.

Refreshments and ice creams were served by Donna Youd. The event raised £220 which is to be match funded by Southern Cross Healthcare, the owners of The Grange.

Proceeds will be used to take residents on trips to Rufford Country Park and to Matlock. Remaining funds are to be used to purchase additional garden furniture.
