PUBS and clubs in Shirebrook and Bolsover are being given advice on new noise regulations to coincide with Noise Action Week.
New regulations about noise pollution came into force during April and now Bolsover District Council is offering businesses free help and advice on how to comply.

Businesses can also receive a noise survey, which measures the levels of noise staff are being subjected to at work.

Coun Dennis Kelly, Bolsover District Council's cabinet member for the environment, said: "We want to offer any help and advice we can to these businesses on how to reduce their noise levels, while still providing a good night's entertainment."

For more information contact Bolsover District Council on 01246 242284, email enquiries@bolsover.gov.uk or visit www.noiseactionweek.org.uk
