A NEW playgroup has opened at Shirebrook Welfare, called Treasures. In the picture with these four little treasures are their mothers, from left, Alison Hallam, Angela Scott, Sarah Powell and Rebbeca Evans.
Mrs Hallam welcomed the youngsters and their parents to the Welfare on Thursday week.

A special presentation of craft resources including using paper, glitter, puppets and foam shapes, was recently given by Donna Davis and Pat Etches, of In House Activities, to mark the opening of the new playgroup.

At the craft table, children made 'glitter pumpkins and ghosts' in preparation for Hallowe'en.

Babies and toddlers played with a toy train set, messy pasta and an activity blanket. Refreshments included crumpets, bananas and drinks.
