MPs named as employing family members

WARSOP MP John Mann and Bolsover MP Dennis Skinner are among more than 100 MPs nationwide who have said they employ family members.
In total, 106 MPs have voluntarily registered family members as working for them after MP Derek Conway was suspended from Parliament for 10 day in January for employing his son despite him being a full time student.
MPs have now been urged to list which family members they employ, which will become compulsory in August.
And it has been revealed that Mr Mann employs his wife Joanna White as office manager, while Mr Skinner employs his partner Lois Blasenheim as senior research/parliamentary assistant.
The role of office manager attracts a salary of £21,320 to £40,052 and the job of senior research/Parliamentary assistant is paid £27,780 to £40,052.
