Felt making at Shirebrook school

PUPILS in years five and six at Model Village Primary School, Shirebrook, have been involved in the process of felt making with artist Kirsty Smith, from Lichfield.
Each pupil made an individual felt panel. These were stitched together during the classes' enrichment sessions and fixed around a wooden structure to create a felt tent.

Pupils pictured in the tent are, from left, Nathan Milner,Carly Fryer and Alex Fenn.
