Witness appeal after fatal road crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died on Tuesday evening.
The A617 in Averham was closed for most of the evening after the incident at around 7.30pm.

The busy Mansfield to Newark road eventually re-opened in the early hours.

Police say a 51-year-old man died in the crash and appealing for witnesses to contact them on 0115 9670 999.
