VETERANS from Blidworth and Rainworth enjoy a day out at the National Memorial Arboretum and Armed Forces War Memorial at Alrewas, Staffordshire.
The visit was organised by Blidworth parish councillor and former Sherwood Forester Terry Hurst to commemorate Veterans' Day, which celebrates the contribution made by all those who have served in the Armed Forces and helps raise public awareness of ex-service personnel.
