NEWARK & Sherwood District Council has launched its Citizen of the Year 2008 awards –– and wants folk to nominate somebody they believe deserves to be recognised for their personal achievements or dedication to the community
The three age groups in the award scheme are under 25s, 26 to 59 and 60 and over and anyone who wants to nominate an individual for the awards should give the name of the nominated person and the reason why they think they deserve the award.

They should also include the nominee's age in December 2008 and their own name, address and a contact number.

Entries should be sent by 3rd November to: The Chairman's Office, Newark & Sherwood District Council, Kelham Hall, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG23 5QX.
