Edwinstowe straw blaze drama

FIRE crews from Mansfield and Edwinstowe were called to a blaze on Paddock Close, Edwinstowe, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The fire broke out when 150 tons of bailed straw set alight at around 1.20am and posed a threat of igniting neighbouring woodland.
Firefighters are currently still at the blaze to let it burn out in a controlled manner, without affecting the woodland.
