JOSEPH Whitaker School students hand over a cheque for £605 to Andrew Wright, right, of the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre based at the University of Nottingham.
The money was raised by the Rainworth school's Year Nine and Year 12 pupils through a range of fundraising activities like discos, raffles and cake stalls.

They selected the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre as their chosen charity because of its work supporting children at a local centre.
