AN Edwinstowe pensioner died after suffering two falls at a care home, an inquest was told on Thursday.
Eighty-three-year-old Sylvia Needham, of Fourth Avenue, died at King's Mill Hospital on 24th September after the falls at Nightingale Care Home, where she had lived since September 2005.

Nottinghamshire coroner Dr Nigel Chapman told the inquest that Mrs Needham's falls were partly due to her high blood pressure and angina and she had died from a subdural haemorrhage.

Recording a verdict of accidental death, the coroner passed on his sympathies to Mrs Needham's family.
