KING'S Mill Hospital nurse Nicola Armstrong receives £146 on behalf of the Robin Hood Ward from Kingsway Junior School pupils, pictured from left, Leah Booth, Chloe Hemmings, Emily Stacey and Thomas Durant.
The Kirkby school raised the money during its recent production of Hoodwinked, which was a musical comedy based on the adventures of Robin Hood.

Says Paul Ford, deputy headteacher: "We wanted to donate to the local hospital and to a ward that helped children.

"The play was a big success and was enjoyed by the people who attended."
