BUDDING artists from Mansfield's Newgate Lane Primary School show off their paintings during a creative day at Carr Bank Park.
The Year Four pupils enjoyed a series of arts workshops as part of the park's entry to the East Midlands in Bloom competition and were helped by professional artist Sue Barry.

The day was organised by the Greenwood Community Forest Team, and community liaison officer Gill Grievson says the workshop allowed the children to explore their creative side.

"Bringing children to the park to study nature is very important as it allows their creativity to run riot," she said.
