A ROSS Henshaw late show sealed a superb 3-2 victory in NCEL Division One for on- form Teversal against Worsborough Bridge.
Henshaw struck in dramatic fashion with two minutes remaining to wrap up the points and move Tevie up into 12th spot in the table.

Teversal fell behind after a great passing move opened up their defence, before Dowle lifted the ball over Wilson, a
llowing Lee Garside the simple task of heading home.

But Teversal were to show great character throughout the game and pulled level four minutes later thanks to a stroke of luck.

Dave Cockerill picked out the unmarked Colin Cockerill, who fired a fierce strike that Gee-Pemberton deflected to wrong-foot Hartley and send the ball in the opposite corner.

Tevie took control just after the re-start when
Dave Cockerill was found by brother Colin, before he delivered an inch perfect cross for Gee-Pemberton to powerfully head home.

The drama was still to come, though, as the visitors appeared to have snatched an unlikely draw two minutes from time when Dean Shirt hammered home during a scramble.

But the newly resilient Tevie refused to concede the win and went straight up the other end from the kick-off to take the lead after Henshaw stabbed home a low Gee-Pemberton cross.
