LETTER: Thanks to Good Samaritan

I would like to pass my sincere thanks to the lady who helped my 72-year-old father on Friday, May 13, on The Carrs, Warsop. '¨A labrador off the lead jumped up at him while he was walking his own dogs, pushing him to the floor. '¨He now has a broken elbow which will need an operation and pinning. '¨The dog owner did not even have the courtesy to give her details, despite my father clearly being in lots of pain. '¨Thankfully the anonymous Good Samaritan gave him a lift and ensured he was safe. '¨Reassuring to know there are good people out there.
