A SUTTON father-and-son team have organised a music event to raise funds for King’s Mill Hospital.

Andy and Dan Collins, who host charity nights under the name Venus Sound, are inviting people along to their disco bash on 18th May.

The event, which is from 7.30pm until 1am, is at the Intake Club in Mansfield and will feature music from the 1960s to the present day, as well as Motown hits. There will also be a guest appearance by DJ Cal from Sutton’s Takeover Radio.

Andy says: “We have been doing charity nights for the past three years and I thought this would be something good to get on board with.

“Hopefully people will come and have a good night. We’ve got a laser light show and a good sound system.”

Tickets cost £5.50 and are available from Andy and Dan’s shop Venus Entertainment in Sutton. They are also available from the reception at King’s Mill and the Intake or £7 on the door. Alternatively, call Mansfield 554477 or 07813 320275.

• We have teamed up with Andy and Dan to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a group ticket (four people) and 10 readers the chance to win a pair of tickets. All you have to do is answer the following question:

Q: At which Mansfield venue will the disco take place?
