Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting patients to share their experiences of the emergency department at King’s Mill Hospital and help shape the future standards of care.
A meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday) between 5-7pm in Lecture Theatre 2 in the Education Centre at King’s Mill Hospital as part of an organisation-wide initiative to improve the quality of every patient’s experience.
Patients will have the opportunity to meet nurses, doctors, managers and other healthcare staff and tell them about their real life experiences face to face.
Susan Bowler, executive director of nursing and quality, urged people to come forward and speak about their experiences.
She said: “We are keen to listen to the experience and views of our patients, whether they have had a positive experience or whether they feel there is room for improvement. This is a genuine opportunity to influence the future of local care.”
Travel costs, including parking, will be paid and refreshments provided.
For more info, patients should call 01623 672371 or email email@example.com.
