A woman who died after a crash in Mansfield Woodhouse has been named.
Margaret Joan Gomez, of Burns Drive in Dronfield, was the pillion passenger on a Suzuki motorbike when the collision occurred in Peafield Lane at around 7.15pm on Monday.
The 48-year-old and her husband Carlos, who was riding the bike, were taken to King’s Mill Hospital. Mrs Gomez later died from her injuries.
Mr Gomez (51), was transferred to The Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, where he is in a serious condition.
The crash occurred when the motorcycle, travelling between Mansfield Woodhouse and Warsop Windmill towards Ollerton, was in collision with a Kia Picanto and a Rover.
No-one else was injured in the incident.
