Woman cut free after Rufford collision

A woman had to be cut free from her car after a collision at Rufford this afternoon.

Fire crews from Mansfield and Blidworth, as well as specialist crews were called to the incident on the A614 at 2.13pm.

The car was in collision with a truck near to the Rose Cottage restaurant.

The lorry had collided the rear of the woman’s black Mercedes.

She was conscious when she was cut free and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

There is currently heavy traffic on the A614 because of the incident.
