Gale-force winds and torrential rain looks set to batter the region today.
Most of us will wake to heavy rain but it will still be relatively calm, however, the winds are set to stir as we get towards midday and gusts of up to 45mph are expected to hit the region.
There may be some dry spells around this time, but the rain will not be fay away for the rest of the day, although the winds are expected to die down by teatime.
Temperatures are also set to reach up to around 17/18c.
Sunday is forecast to be a much better day with the odd shower, but with sunny intervals.
