Today after a bright start in places cloud will thicken, with the odd spot of light rain at times. Brighter conditions moving into the north later, possibly accompanied by the odd shower.

Tonight it will be mostly clear with a frost in places. A little more cloud may develop towards the end of the night, perhaps with an isolated wintry shower over the Derbyshire hills. Minimum Temperature -1C.

Tuesday will be starting dry and fine for many with scattered showers developing, wintry at times, becoming more widespread with a risk of hail and thunder. Feeling cold in the brisk northerly breeze. Maximum Temperature 8C.
