Mansfield and Ashfield Clinical Commissioning Group should call a proper public meeting and not waste money on two days of drop-in sessions.
Mansfield and Ashfield Clinical Commissioning Group should call a proper public meeting and not waste money on two days of drop-in sessions. They are not listening to local people when they close wards at Ashfield Health Village. All they can offer local people is cuts in service and the prospect of health in our area being less well funded than in the rest of the country.
Mortality rates in the Ashfield and Mansfield areas are some of the worst in the whole of England. The only people who are benefiting from the local heath service are the doctors themselves. They have been given huge salary increases while our health service is being cut. People can’t get basic surgery on eyes and hips. Let’s not have a service based on rationing what money is left from GPS out of a pot that will get smaller year on year. It is time for action not meaningless consultation.
