The man arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a man’s body in Warsop Vale on Friday afternoon has been released by police. The body was found at a property on North Street, Warsop Vale, at around 2.35pm on Friday afternoon and a 32-year-old man subsequently arrested.
The scene was cordoned off while a forensic examination was carried out and police officers also started house-to-house enquiries in the area.
No details of how the victim, who has yet to be formally identified, died have been released.
A bungalow on the A60 Mansfield Road at Warsop was also cordoned off by police over the weekend, though it is not yet clear if this is linked to the North Street incident.
Late on Sunday, police said that the ’32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder was released without charge on Sunday. He remains on police bail for other matters’.
A spokesman added: “Police can clarify that he is no longer being questioned about the man’s murder.”
