A series of events at the Black Market venue in Warsop helped raise almost £1,800 for Macmillan Cancer Research.

There were jamming sessions, live performances from local bands such as Roger the Mascot and solo artist Paige Seabridge, a sponsored head shave, a family fun day, and even a daring ‘Full Monty’ performance.

With a further £350 being donated by the Warsop Kickboxing Club, the total exceeded expectations.

Host Dave Drury said: “Our original target was to achieve £1,000 but it just kept going.”
