Four people have been charged with the murder of Warsop man Cliff Collinge - including his wife.

The body of 61-year-old Clifford Collinge was found at his home in Sandy Lane shortly after 10pm on Saturday.

On Wednesday evening police revealed that four people have been charged with his murder.

Those charged with his murder are:

Charlotte Emma Victoria Collinge (44), of Sandy Lane, Warsop; Stephen David Shreeves (39), of Laurel Avenue, Church Warsop; Kelvin Scott Dale (27), of Forest Road, Warsop, and Robert Proud (36), of Greendale Close, Warsop.

Shreeves, Dale and Proud have also been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm to a 36-year-old man.

All four have been remanded to appear at Mansfield magistrates’ court on Thursday morning.

On Tuesday two men who had been arrested over the incident were released without charge.

A post-mortem examination on Monday proved inconclusive and further tests will be carried out to establish the exact cause of Mr Collinge’s death.
