WARNING to travelling Sheffield Wednesday fans

Sheffield Wednesday fans travelling to the Nottingham Forest match are being warned about severe disruption to train services in Nottinghamshire today.

The line is currently closed between Nottingham, Mansfield and Worksop, after the signalling cables were stolen from the Lenton area of Nottingham overnight.

Thousands of fans are expected at the sold-out away match in Nottingham.

A replacement bus service is running between Nottingham and Worksop, and between Nottingham and Chesterfield - as well as tickets being accepted on Nottingham tram services.

People should expect delays and leave plenty of time for their journey.
