MEMBERS of the community will be putting their best feet forward as they embark on a charity walk from Sutton’s New Cross pub to the Nottingham Forest ground on Friday (22nd April).
The event has been organised by Nick Briggs who is friends with Mark Carrington and Hayley Radford whose daughter Kira suffers from a rare degenerative condition called Ataxia Telangiectasia.
All the funds raised on the day will be donated to the AT Society which supports families with members suffering from the condition.
Nick is hoping that around 25 people will make the 17-mile trip, including Kira’s dad Mark.
Nick said: “My idea is to get as many people together as we can.”
The walk has been organised ahead of a charity football match and fun day at Sutton Lawn on Sunday which is also in aid of the AT Society. The event will kick off at noon.
