NatWest has opened the second phase of its CommunityForce programme and is asking people from North Nottinghamshire to decide which three good causes should benefit from the £6,000 awards.
Forty three local charities and good causes from the area have applied for a NatWest CommunityForce award and a public vote will decide which three of them receive the £6,000 awards.
Votes can be placed at www.natwest.com/communityforce before 23rd October.
CommunityForce was launched in July to support charities and good causes in communities served by RBS and NatWest branches.
In each of the 158 individual CommunityForce areas in the UK the bank is offering three local projects the chance to win an award of £6,000 each. Following the launch more than 5,820 applications were received.
Matt Cross, NatWest’s Local CEO for North Nottinghamshire, said: “It was great to see so many applications received from local charities and good causes. It is really important to ask the local community who should win these awards.”
