GLASSES wearers across Mansfield will be able play their part in boosting Chad’s massive £750,000 MRI Scanner Appeal.
Vision Express, which is based in the Four Seasons, is asking customers requesting basic repairs to their glasses to donate into a collection box for our appeal.
Repairs include work to nosepads, new glasses casses and work on end-of-season glasses.
Ian Hughes, Vision Express manager, said: “We have a collection box in the store with the Chad appeal on it so people are fully aware of what the money is for.
“We wanted to do more to help our local community and we see this as the perfect way of putting something back. We just want to raise as much money as possible for the appeal.”
Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.
All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
