A woman had to be cut free from a car after smash near Blidworth this morning.
Fire crews had to remove the roof from a red Ford Fiesta after it was in collision with a black Vauxhall Corsa on the A614 Old Rufford Road at the junction with Haywood Oaks.
The incident happened at 7.34am and the fire crews were dispatched from Mansfield and Edwinstowe.
The male driver of the Corsa had released himself prior to the arrival of the emergency services and was treated by the ambulance service. The female driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.
A clean-up operation started at around 8.45am.
The A614 remained open with police officers directing traffic, however, Haywood Oaks was closed from the Blidworth end and Oaks Lane.
