Two men arrested in connection with Mansfield town centre assault
Two men have been arrested in connection with an assault in Mansfield town centre in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
Police say the men, both 22, have been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent.
The assault, which took place on Leeming Street at around 3.15am, left the victim with serious head injuries.
He is currently receiving treatment at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
