Road users are being warned of an abnormal load as it travels through Nottinghamshire this morning.
Nottinghamshire Police officers will escort the abnormal load as it travels through the county from 9.30am, reaching its destination at Cross Lane, Blidworth before 10.30am.
The police convoy will begin on the A46 southbound at Newark, before heading north along the A6097 Epperstone by-pass to pick up the A614 at Oxton.
On the final leg of its journey, the convoy will head west along the A617 before travelling along Blidworth Lane and Cross Lane, Blidworth – both areas which are popular with horse riders.
The Force is not expecting the convoy to significantly effect travel times in the county, although road users – and particularly horse riders – are advised to avoid these areas where possible.
