Man bailed by police over Sutton minibus death crash

A 22-YEAR-OLD man arrested in connection with a fatal crash at Sutton on Monday has been released on bail.

The man had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the collision between a Renault Clio and a minibus, which occurred at the junction of Hamilton Road and the A617 Mansfield Ashfield Regeneration Route at around 12.30am.

He will be required to answer bail on a date in May.

A man travelling in the minibus was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash but is yet to be formally identified.

A female passenger in the minibus was also seriously injured and remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
