ENGLISH Heritage has confirmed that fireworks will return to Bolsover Castle this November and tickets are now on sale with a special offer for early bookings.
Last year English Heritage revived the traditional fireworks display at Bolsover Castle and thousands of visitors packed the castle grounds to watch the show.
English Heritage Events Manager Lucy Hutchings said: “We were thrilled to bring fireworks back to Bolsover Castle last year, and can confirm that the fireworks to music spectacular will return again this year on Saturday, 3rd November.
“We will be bringing the story of Guy Fawkes to life through performance, music and special effects.
“Visitors will be able to meet the executioner and hear tales of Guy Fawkes’ torture and execution. Musicians will retell the story of Guy Fawkes to popular music, the jester will entertain the crowds with his school for fools and impressive fire show, and the Riding House will be illuminated with a dramatic bonfire projection. There will be a choice of delicious hot food and refreshments available as well as the castle gift shop and cafe.
“The main event, the fireworks show set to classical music, will be at 7pm with events and performances before and after the fireworks.”
