Three people had to be cut free from their vehicles following a collision in Pleasley this afternoon, Saturday 4th October.
Fire crews from Mansfield, Ashfield and a specialist rescue unit from Tuxford were called to Common Lane at 1.30pm following the accident.
The two cars had collided almost head on.
One of the vehicles was carrying two people, the other just had a driver. One male and two females were extricated and taken to hospital by ambulance, although all three were conscious and not thought to have major injuries.
The road was closed for an hour.
