Three people released without charge after man found with serious head injuries

DETECTIVES investigating the cause of head injuries sustained by a 30-year-old man in Sutton say they are now satisfied they were the result of an accidental fall.

The man was found in Outram Street at around 9pm on Wednesday and taken to the King’s Mill Hospital. His injuries proved not to be as serious as first thought and police were able to interview him late on Thursday afternoon.

Three people arrested in connection with the incident have now been released without charge. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
