Three arrests after Forest Town raid

THREE people are being questioned by police after a raid in Forest Town uncovered a haul of drugs.

The man aged 36 and two women aged 26 and 24 are being quizzed after the operation on Thursday (13th October) at a property on Garwick Close.

Officers seized drugs with a street value of £5,000, drugs paraphernalia, around £1,000 in cash and other items, “believed to have been purchased from the proceeds of crime”.

All three people were arrested for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and for offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Officers are continuing to question the three, who remain in custody.
